After determining exactly what you will need to live the retirement of your dreams you will begin formulating a plan to pursue those dreams. In today’s world of early retirements and longer life spans, formal retirement planning is a must to ensure independence and a lifestyle that will make you comfortable during your retirement years. You will learn ways to minimize the devastating impact of taxes and inflation that eat away at your retirement savings. Have you watched your retirement accounts take a beating in past market conditions and want to learn how to better position your investments? Attend and learn how to better diversify to help reduce risk for your hard-earned assets. Other topics covered include strategies to help make your money last longer during retirement, investor behavior, investment options, IRAs and Roth IRAs, Social Security, long term care, estate planning, gifting, and much, much more. Your instructor is Roger S. Green, host since 1998 of Your Green, on FaithTalk 970 AM Saturdays from 10-11:00am.  Roger has been teaching retirement planning at Gwinnett colleges since 1997, and for more than a decade has been contributing a monthly column to the Gwinnett Citizen newspaper as well.   Roger was listed in Barron's as one of the Top 1000/1200 Advisors in February of 2009-2016.  In 2016, Roger's firm was named the overall Gwinnett Chamber Pinnacle Small Business of the Year.  In 2008, Green Financial was the Chamber Pinnacle Small Business of the Year in the 1-9 full-time employee category.  He was named to the Research Magazine 2009 Advisor Hall of Fame - one of five advisors nationally to receive this honor. Roger has a wealth of knowledge, and 30 years experience helping people with their money, to share to help you meet your financial goals.
